Transient - 48

Starry Night

She lay alone in the middle of a field under the night's sky, her black coat draped across the grass as she gazed up to the stars through the thin sheets of glass that veiled her eyes. Allison had a daily struggle, it was something she had to deal with since she was a child and plagued her in her adult life. She was always at war it would seem, every second her mind was let to wander it would always come up with the worst of everything. No matter how much good came to her throughout life, there was always the voice in the back of her mind gnawing at her without recourse. It was loud... It was damaging...

'You aren't good enough'...
'They hate you, you know. All of them.'
'You will fail'...

Every second of calm she had, everywhere she turned there was doubt... She couldn't shut it off no matter how hard she tried so she always had to have some form of escape. Video games were a wonderful way to get out of the world she lived in - being someone else in a far off world, living a fantastic tale of heroism or villainy. Anything to keep her mind active to keep that nagging voice far at bay.

Drugs didn't work - The only kind that helped were illegal to her and the ones she had been prescribed always had horrible side-effects.

So she was always happy... Outwardly at least. She tried her best to be upbeat and cheerful when she could around others even when she felt like she was at her lowest. Whenever she looked up to the stars on a clear night she would return to a state of child-like wonder, the celestial bodies that were oh-so-far away always were a source of inspiration to her. The crisp wind of the night graced her body like the world trying to lull her into peace while the fireflies danced like pixies just over her form. There were few places in the world where she felt genuinely at peace, and this was one of them. That's why she would always come here... As she gazed up into the celestial heavens she would imagine the best of the cosmos - What a joy it would be to travel the stars, to always discover and learn in peace.

That's why she was here...

By all accounts she was a successful individual in today's day and age. Advancements in internet video services had helped her into a position where she no longer had to work a long night shift doing things that made her feel empty inside. She spent her life trying to make others feel good, to leave the world a better place than what it was when she entered it. She had already touched millions by simply allowing herself to be herself in front of a camera, and people loved it.

It was time to go...

Slowly she sat up, gripping the pack if cigarettes she held in her jacket's pocket slightly. It was a new pack, she'd likely wind up smoking a few before she returned home to attend her scheduled online stream. The words of adoration from the internet community helped her so much more than anyone online could know. She didn't believe most of what they had to say, but she still continued doing what she loved ~ And she would continue, even if there was no monetary gain to be had. She was successful, yet people have told her things...

'What do you have to be sad about?' they would ask.
'Just be happy. Sorrow's a choice for you.'
'Don't worry so much...'

It's not that easy.

She stood up, walking to the edge of the open field toward a dirt path to her home. Her right hand in her pocket, still gripping that pack of cigarettes that she had picked up from the gas station an hour ago. She didn't look up, her eyes trained on the path in front of her as she went. It was a habit of hers ever since she was a kid running through the woods - Looking down slightly so she could see where she was stepping kept her from catching a foot on a fallen branch and plummeting face-first into the floor. She was always a fairly clumsy kid, and it did follow her in life.

As she wandered through the gates of the park she pulled that pack out of her pocket and tore off the plastic top. The silver tin below came off fairly easy as it always did. Gently she pulled a single cigarette from the corner of the pack and flipped it over, replacing it so that the tobacco faced outward. Her 'Lucky', always the last in the pack to go. She would glance up from the path every so often to scan the area for any potential threats as she walked along the pathway toward her home. It was a fairly nice neighborhood, but in today's day and age you could never be too careful. She slipped the cigarette between her lips and pulled a lighter from her pocket.

On that first drag she glanced back down to the ground to see... Him...

A tiny creature... A man the size of an insect, his blue hair cast by the glow of the streetlight as she stood there with cigarette in hand. The first rolling cloud of smoke left her lips as she stepped over to him, crouching down to get a better look.

"A naked doll? That's fucked up..." She chuckled to herself, her blue eyes locked on Mathew's little body.

She didn't notice that his chest was moving, all she noticed was the little [REDACTED]. For some reason it put a smile on her face... Someone, somewhere in the world took the time to make an extremely detailed toy and went through the trouble of making it anatomically correct. Not only that, they gave it a [REDACTED].

"What the fuck are you doing out here, little guy." She said as she held her cigarette in her right hand, looking down to Mat's seemingly lifeless body. She reached out with her left, her fingers slipping underneath the back of the little doll as she lifted it up from the floor. "This is the part of the horror movie where I die, isn't it..."

She stood back up, holding Mathew in the palm of her hand and she examined him. He felt so much like a living creature it was almost otherworldly - Whoever went through the trouble of making him did a damn good job. With her cigarette still held between her index finger and first, the blonde girl gently [REDACTED]...

The sensation was enough to make Mathew move. He let out a slight groan of pleasure under her touch and she could feel his body quake in her palm. Allison's reaction was immediate - She yanked both of her hands away and jumped in fright at the unexpected movement. The cigarette in her right hand fell to the street, landing in an open drain and disappearing into the darkness. It wasn't a scream she produced, but the most adorable little 'squeak' anyone could have ever heard. Immediately she brought both of her hands to her face, curling her fingers beneath her bottom lip as she looked to the 'Doll' that now lay face down on the ground.

The fall hadn't harmed him, though it was uncomfortable to land in such a way. Much like his previous little lives, he hadn't gained the energy to move. Ali looked down to him with wide eyes, paying a bit more attention to his body now that he was no longer in her grasp. The fact that her first cigarette was lost hadn't even dawned on her.

"Jesus... What the fuck..." She whimpered, looking down to him on the floor.

Gently she brought her right foot to his side, nudging him with the toe of her paratrooper-style combat boot until he rolled onto his back again. The little one already had a few moments to recover before he was discovered, he was now to the point where he could move of his on volition. After she 'helped' him to his back, he stumbled to his feet ever so slowly... The fear slowly subsided as she soon realized the lack of danger the little one truly possessed.

"You little asshole..." She groaned down to him, "Not cool... That was like the complete opposite of cool."

She looked around again... There was nobody, it was just the two of them alone on the street. Even the fireflies had gone away as the night progressed. The thoughts clouding her mind had subsided for the time being... She was focused on this new thing, this human on the ground that just scared the shit out of her. However, there was another feeling that began to wash over her body. It was something she really hadn't felt in a long time, the feeling of power... Dominance...

"Meanie..." She uttered, "I just lit that cigarette and now it's all... Sewer-ey~"

"S... Sor..." Mat whimpered up to her, still unable to form a complete sentence.

She had complete power over him... The goth's mind raced with ideas and thoughts of what she could do to a tiny human. However, the first thing that came to mind seemed like the best option to assert herself over her new little servant. She brought her left foot forward, the tread of her paratrooper boot lifted over the little one mere inches from his face as he looked up to the bottom of her shoe. Gently she began to press down, forcing him onto his knees in front of her as the damp and dirty rubber sole descended. With a curious smirk, she wondered exactly what she could get away with forcing him to do.

"Dude, Sorry isn't going to bring my cigarette out of the sewer. That was totally my last one..." She began, the surge of dominant energy overwhelming her. "Show me how sorry you are, little dude."

Without hesitation, Mathew moved forward enough that his face was pressed against the tread of her boot. His tongue began to drag across the underside of her footwear as pleasure began to wash into his body in waves. He likely would have done this without prompt, but now he had purpose. The dirt and dust was hard to swallow but somehow his body was able to take it all in like a healthy meal. She could feel him working beneath her combat boot, which was an odd sensation to say the least.

"Just sayin'... I didn't actually tell you to do that. I mean, I was just going for like... Maybe a 'Oh gosh i'm super sorry' or 'Damn, next pack's on me' and you're down there... Licking... Or something. Whatever floats your little boat I guess? You do you man, you do you..." She said nonchalantly, letting him continue his little bit of worship. Casually she pulled the pack of cigarettes back out of her pocket and took another fresh cancer stick into her fingers. In a fairly fluid motion she lit the cigarette and took in a deep drag, letting the smoke slide out through pursed lips.

"W... Want me to stop?" She heard from below, his voice slightly shaky from exhaustion and over-stimulation.

"Fuck no, Keep licking till my cigarette's done. It's cute." She said as she gazed down to the little figure beneath her foot.

"But you just said you were..." Mat began.

"Don't recall asking for sass. I'll cut you..." She interrupted him, nudging her foot down to make her point a bit more clear. However, it was hard to be threatening when the threat was said in such a cute and insincere tone. Mat resumed his work, nuzzling between the worn tread of her boot in an attempt to get a bit deeper. It didn't help that she just finished walking down a dirt path making the bottom of her boot a bit dirtier than average. As he worked on the bottom of her boot for no real reason at all, Allison looked back up to the clear night's sky above.

Just in time... A shooting star went jetting across the night sky, disappearing just before the abnormally visible spiral arm of the milky way.

She actually let him work throughout the cigarette, basking in the power she held over his life. Every so often she'd casually look around her to see if anyone was watching or listening from afar... If someone heard her talking right now she may be mistaken for being on a Bluetooth headset or something, which wasn't the end of the world anyway. A few more minutes passed as ash fell from the cigarette she'd gently flick with her thumb. In the presence of the stars and the feeling of power she had within her, she genuinely felt good about herself. It was rare a rare feeling indeed...

With a smirk, Ali dropped the butt of the cigarette on the floor next to her outstretched boot. Mat looked over to the filter that landed like a log as the foot he had been diligently cleaning lifted up from him enough that he could no longer reach it. In a casual act, it came down on the spent cigarette with her heel lifted in the sky. She watched his reactions to the sight closely, making sure to exaggerate each twist she gave the cigarette into the cement floor. It wasn't anything near what she had expected though... Half of her thought it would be fear, like her extinguishing the cigarette in front of him would put him in some sort of submissive 'Don't do that to me' state. However, he seemed to look to the cigarette with admiration and longing, watching each twist of her boot with jealousy. She finished the show by dragging her foot back, spreading the ashes in a black line until the twisted remains of the filter flipped out from beneath the tip of her boot.

"Want me to make your insides outsides too?" She chuckled, casually lifting her now ash-tainted sole over Mathew enough to nudge him to his back. "This is gonna feel weird."

She didn't actually wait for an answer before she shifted her weight forward slightly. She could feel Mathew's little body become pinned beneath her, his hands gripping at the tread of her combat boot as she pinned him to the rough cement sidewalk. Slowly she lifted her heel, adding enough pressure until she felt his body begin to snap beneath her. Her face curled into a grimace as she imagined the pain he must have been in down there, her overactive imagination already taking everything into account. It didn't stop her though...

Mathew could still see the flattened cigarette next to him as he felt her weight descend. It was far less forgiving than someone's bare sole... He felt like he was in a compactor as his skin molded into the tread of her boot. Slowly the light began to fade as the gap closed to the outside world. Mat could hear his bones splintering and each organ in his body rupturing underneath the unrelenting and unwavering weight that came down upon his tiny form. He had already given himself to her whims, and now his inevitable fate was at hand. Soon he would be sent to another world to die once again... A fate he had already come to enjoy.

"So squishy~" She said in a cute and almost mocking tone, trailing out the last of her statement as she felt her foot come to rest on the ground. She shifted her weight onto his little body entirely, enjoying the rush of power taking his life gave to her. When the deed was done she lifted her foot from the ground and stood on one leg to check the damage. It was brutal, the little human's intestines had been pressed clean from his body and dangled down like a noodle toward the ground. The sight reminded her of a crushed insect, and even though she had no idea of his ability to continue living elsewhere, she didn't feel particularly bad.

Without saying another word, she set off for home. She held the pack of cigarettes in her right hand as she did before she came across the little being. He was stuck to the bottom of her foot, but that wasn't her problem. She realized how wrapped up in the moment she got - It was getting later and later, and she was already late for her live stream!

Every so often on her way home, she would look back up to the stars. Unaware of what she truly did to the little Transient soul...

She sent him back into the stream, to ride along celestial winds to the next world.
