Transient - 29

Heart of the Wild

"You're awake!" A cheerful voice filled the sky as Mat's eyes slowly pulsed to life.

He lay on his back, biting his lower lip a bit as he felt the energies of his past deaths still inside of his body. It wasn't as intense, meaning that something happened to make sure he could keep going on with whatever his task was for the strange voices. That is, if the voices truly existed in the first-place. He could just be going crazy, all of this could be one extremely vivid hallucination... Somehow he figured he wouldn't know, at least not right away.

"What?" Mat whimpered as he saw her above him. She was crouched, her legs spread out in an almost ridiculously flexible way. She smiled down to him from high above as her white hair danced gently in the wind. Her right hand was in the ground, and her left positioned on her left leg as she began to cheerfully speak.

"I could feel you a mile away. You look like a person, but you're not ~ Are you?" She cooed down to him, tilting her head with a smile.

"I don't suppose so..." Mat replied, his heart pounding in his chest. "Where am I?"

"On the ground, silly! You're glowing in a way that's all your own. The Wind tells me some really strange things about you." She giggled a bit, "You're part of a really important task, that's right?"

"I don't know what it is... But it has to be important for all I've gone through."

"Are you likin' your journey? I don't know why, but the universe wants me to crush you. I'm not plannin' on killing things, Just making friends and learning! You can come with me sometime, We'll be friends!"

"It's been really hard... Maddening at times, especially recently. I've been pushed to my whits end but i'm not sure I'd go back. Yeah, I guess i'm enjoying it."

"Well what do you want me to do, Spirit? I can take you with me, I have a lot of friends I can show ya' to! I don't know why the wind wants me to do such a horrible thing to you."

"It's not really all that horrible... Its hard to explain, but I do come back after a while. It's not really killing me, it's just sending me along. I've already been crushed dozens of times." Mat replied, his voice sounding somewhat shy.

"That's fascinating!" She happily said down to him, "We can be friends though right!"

"Of course. I... I need you to listen to the wind though. I don't know why I need to keep going, but it's important. Something's compelling me to keep going. Something strong."

"You want me to crush you? I don't really wanna', I don't crush up my friends." She replied sternly, "Least' I could do is something for you first. The wind's whisperin' strange things to me... If I did mush you up, would you have fun where you go?"

"Yeah." Mat replied, "It's really for the best. I'll be back somewhere else and maybe we can spend more time then, but just listen to the wind for now and i'll see you later."

She laughed a hearty laugh as she brought her left hand down, her index finger's tip touched his [REDACTED]. Mat whimpered in pleasure as she played with him on the ground. She watched the blue-haired spirit begin to squirm in pleasure, her head tilting back the other way.

"You're special then! If you were mortal I wouldn't even consider any of this ~ I don't think I could kill a little person, even if they asked. Everything's telling me to play with you, so I'll play then!" She explained happily as she continued toying with [REDACTED]. "The Wind's been telling me I should do this. Pleasure for you isn't greedy and lustful like the evil here on this world. It's pure and light, it whispers to me askin' me to give more to you. Me givin' to you, is me giving to the universe."

"I can still come with you..." Mat whimpered, "Just don't wash me off your feet."

"You sure? There's a long walk ahead of me! I'd turn you to the earth. You gotta' promise me you'll come back, and next time ~ Tell me everything about the worlds you've been to! There's so much I can learn from you about the universe."

"I promise I'll come back. Next time, I'll spend some time with you ~ But you have to promise me something in return."

"What's that, Spirit?" She asked quizzically.

"Don't feel bad about killing me. I'm on a long, fantastic adventure." Mat replied, pausing a moment as he took a deep breath in from the pleasure. "You have to send me along."

"I can tell if you really die ~ If that happens, I'd be sad. Fighting is fun, but killing is evil. Nothin' to be gained from that. If I don't think of it as killin' you though, there's nothin' to be sad about! I'm just sendin' you to another world. Nature's already told me all I need to know about you! Want me to listen to it?"

"Yes..." Mat whimpered, "I'd be honored if you did."

"I can tell you aren't lying!" She cooed down to Mat, her finger still assaulting his [REDACTED].

"H... How?" He whimpered out, his legs feeling like they were going numb.

"I feel nothin' but positive vibes from you, Spirit!" She cooed down to him. She stood up shortly after, stretching her arms high into the air and bringing herself onto the tips of her toes. She let out a long, contented sigh before looking down to Mat once more. "You need some motivation though! I can feel it."

Just then, she lifted her right foot's heel. She slid the ball of her foot back a bit so it was in line with her arch.

"Go ahead! I don't need to tell you what to do from here. If the wind's right, You'll just do it!"

Mat whimpered to himself as he forced himself up onto his hands and knees. She watched happily from above as he crawled to her feet, the tall grass around them swaying with each pulse of the wind through the area. It seemed to be happy that the status quo was continuing ~ That made Elena happy as well.

Mat got to the exposed sole of her foot and looked up to the dirt caked all over the underside of it. Gently he put his hands on her skin, using all of the energy he had swelling within him to begin massaging into her dirty feet. With the abilities that he learned before, he could do quite a bit! He began to pull the energy from Elena's body that was negative and toxic, absorbing everything like a sponge and leaving her fresh and energetic. She could feel him work, his little hands on her sole relieving her of any anxiety or stress she had about what she had to do.

It went on for a little while, until she began to feel Mat's little tongue slipping around on her skin. Mat was diligent, licking at the same spot until the dirt was gone and swallowed down with the saliva. For some reason, to him, dust served in this manner seemed to be nutritious. Perhaps it was something to do with the spiritual form he now inhabited...

"I can hear the rhythm of your heart beatin! You ready?" She shouted down to him.

He didn't respond, he simply kept working. His [REDACTED] tip pressed up against the rough dirt that covered her soft skin below.

"3... 2... 1..." She counted, when she got to one - her heel began to lower.

Mat slowly crouched, laying to his back as the dusty sole began to descend. The spot he cleared a moment ago fell down to his chest as he got a face full of dust and dirt. His mouth was covered in mud as the space began to diminish entirely. He watched her other foot as the light began to fade from the crack of space that was left.

Then came the familiar sensations - The air wheezed from his lungs as the pressure increased. Mat could feel his skull begin to deform, his eyes bulging from their sockets into the dirt caked against her skin as she shifted her weight onto him. His bones began to splinter and shatter, roughly jabbing into organs with enough force to rupture them as his sides split to let his intestines free from his body. Pain didn't feel the same anymore... It wasn't something he feared or felt as he did when he was alive and mortal, it was something he craved just as much as being pleasured - sometimes even more.

Elena felt his body compress against her skin. However, being as sensitive as she was to the energies of life, she could feel his spirit clinging to the flesh pelt that now adorned her like gum on the bottom of a shoe. It was a curious sensation - He should be dead, but he was definitely still alive! She quickly brought her foot up from the ground, grabbing her right leg with her hand as she brought it up so she could see the sole of her foot.

He was indeed flat - crushed like an insect with red blood mixing into the dirt of her skin. It was as though he belonged there - he fit perfectly smashed where he was. On any other occasion this sort of thing may have frightened her, but she could still feel his spirit - still feel him there, alive and well ~ Listening to her...

"Like a beautiful red flower! See you later, Spirit." She cooed to him as she looked to the little one.

It was strange how much of his appreciation for her she could feel, even with him being so well flattened against her sole. As he had requested before, she didn't pull him off. So long as his spirit was still with her, she'd keep him where he was... Maybe walking on him for a bit might help his transfer into the next world he was to visit! She certainly didn't want to leave him for the carrion to take.

Her foot landed back on the dirt path, her toes gripping the ground as she felt his body compress more beneath her. This would have been a horrible act for any creature other than the spirit Mathew, but right now she felt on top of the world.

The more she walked, the more dirt she felt picking up with Mat's little body. After a few more hours of travel he'd be completely gone! However, she was paying special attention to him. Mat could feel every grain of dirt entering his little body as she walked along mixing him into a little mud pie. The torture lasted for a long time - though he couldn't stop expressing his gratitude to the white-haired woman. She was so nice, so thoughtful and considerate... When she understood that it was a good thing, not bad, to crush him ~ She seemed to do it without feeling regret.

Elena hummed to herself a happy hum as she walked along. His spirit clung to his body for hours ~ Only disappearing after she neared her destination. Her foot collided with the ground, pushing the ball into the dirt below as she felt his spirit leave his body. It didn't disappear in the normal way a dying person would though - she could tell... He was going to continue his journey across the worlds.

One day, perhaps ~ Her little blue-haired friend would return to her.
